West Springfield Youth Soccer Club

INDOOR TRAINING:  Next session on March 10th at 7:00 PM at the West Springfield Boys and Girls Club.  Sessions will run thru the end of March, with the final one being March 31st.

SPRING IS RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER!   The West Springfield Youth Soccer Club (WSYSC) successfully fielded 16 teams with 228 total players in the PVJSL league this past fall, including at least one girls and boys team in each age bracket from U-9 thru U-14.   After fielding 9 voluntary winter training sessions with approximately 40 players per session, we are more than half way there to the start of the spring PVJSL season on April 17th.

FALL RECAP:  Congratulations to the 4 West Side teams who competed in the PVJSL playoffs in their respective divisions.  The West Side Warriors and the West Side Shockers both competed well in semi-final games.  The West Side Chaos made the finals, and the West Side Thunderbolts won their division championship.  And, for the first time, there were dedicated U8 teams for boys and girls to extend the WSYSC playing experience down to 2nd graders.  Congrats to all 16 West Side teams on a great season!!

THE CLUB

WSYSC participates in the Pioneer Valley Junior Soccer League (PVJSL) offering competitive soccer for the youth of West Springfield, Massachusetts.  The club strives to provide to each member:  A place to learn the value of sportsmanship and teamwork;  A supportive, learning atmosphere with excellent coaches;  and An opportunity to play competitive soccer against other towns in the Pioneer Valley area.  This is to be accomplished through organized soccer play and programs designed to provide both a fun and challenging atmosphere
