U10 Girls - Hurricanes

The West Side Hurricanes are competing in the U10 age group of the PVJSL. We are a young club with the majority of the team playing in PVJSL for the first time. Our goal this season is to concentrate on working together as a team, expanding our skills, learning the fundamentals of soccer, and having fun. The girls give 110% in every training session and every game. We are looking forward to a great season! Sincerely, Coach Mike.
FALL 2009 SEASON SUMMARY: West Side HURRICANES
This fall the Hurricanes had a great season, we showed improvement with every practice and game we played. We had three returning PV players who showed their leadership skills, experience and continually spread enthusimism to the team. The majority of the Hurricanes roster this session came from 1st year PV players who had to quickly adapt and step up into this competitive atmosphere. By the end of the season we were working together as a team, capitalizing on opportunities and everyone's skill level as well as knowledge of the game had increased to a level where we proved we had what it takes to compete.
I am extremely proud of the accomplishments and the effort put forth from the girls this session. I would also like to thank the parents for all the support and help they gave. It takes a lot of commitment to work a busy soccer season into your schedules. Thanks again and I look forward to working with everyone again during this winters indoor league.
