Fall 2009 Season - West Side United U13 Boys
West Side United U13 boys was a first year team that combined 8 players from West Springfield with 6 players from Westfield. It was because of the great cooperation between the WSYSC and the Westfield United Club we were able create this team so 14 kids who truely wanted to play soccer were able to play. To the credit of the boys they came together as one team in a very short amount of time. West Side United became the unknown team nobody wanted to play because we played the top teams very evenly. Unfortunately we ran out of steam in some of these games because of our short roster. Several games were played with only 10 players and the opposing coaches were very impressed with how well the boys were able to compete against them. The boys are looking forward to playing together again next fall.
