Who We Are
WSYSC (West Springfield Youth Soccer Club) is a non-profit organization run by an all volunteer staff that offers an opportunity for competitive soccer for the youth of West Springfield, Massachusetts. WSYSC has existed in West Springfield since 1989, is a 501c3 charitable organization which develops soccer players and teams to play other town travel teams in Western Massachusetts. The primary league we play in today is the Roots Soccer League out of Westfield, MA, which has competitive league play in both the Fall and Spring seasons. We serve approximately and now they serve approximately 250-300 youth players in West Springfield between the ages of 7 and 14, and we are the largest sports organization in West Springfield and one of the six largest soccer clubs in all of Western Mass.

MENTORING
Mentoring between different age groups in soccer is a fantasic way to foster growth, camaraderie, and skill development. In these photos the U13 Cheetahs spent time with our U8 girls. This can create a supportive environment where the younger players are able to learn and spend time with their older players.
What we offer for Soccer training and the West Side Soccer legacy
We have tryouts each year in June to choose the players for our teams that extend from 2nd grade (U8) thru 8th grade (U14) for both boys and girls. The teams chosen play both the Fall and Spring seasons, and some even continue to play during the winter months. We also offer special programs like Winter Training, Summer Clinics, fun tournament days, etc. As a result of our efforts, our membership has grown over 50% since 2007, and our players have gone on to success in High School and premier competition, West Springfield HS boys and girls together have won 2 state championships and captured 3 Western Mass championships in the last 5 years..... establishing West Side as a perennial soccer power in Western Mass.
